Elizabeth M. McNair's Final Moments with Frances

July 8th, 1910

"Mrs. Rachel E. McNair of Brodhead, Wis., mother of Mrs. Charles B. Perry, died at the home of her daughter at 130 East Milwaukee Avenue, Wednesday about 11 o'clock in the forenoon. Mrs. McNair had been with the family of her daughter for nearly eight weeks during all of which time she had been confined to her room. She was the daughter of E. G. Melendy and the wife of Miles M. McNair both of whom were pioneer settlers in Green County this state. Her husband, two daughters and a son survive her. The body was taken to Brodhead for burial this morning."
