Frances' Marriage Certificate

April 20th, 1887

Frances married Charles B. Perry on April the 20th of 1887 in Monroe, Wisconsin.

I purchased Frances' marriage certificate from Wisconsin's Historical Society. 

When purchasing historical documents online, you never know what to expect. It's a wonderful mystery, as you don't see the record for several weeks after purchasing documents via a general description.

Handwritten with minimal details, I believe there are clues on this slip of paper, and can't wait to start chasing them down. 

There are no records of the wedding in the local Brodhead paper (I searched the Historical Society's archives), but I am looking to see what I can find based on a few leads the ladies shared with me today at the museum.
